How SMS opt-in works

  1. A user signs in to Chive and opens Settings → Text Chive, or visits this public page.
  2. The user is shown the Chive SMS number and the disclosure language on this page.
  3. The user opts in by sending a link, verification code, or help request to the Chive SMS number from their own phone.
  4. Chive replies only with transactional messages related to the user's request, such as account linking, saved-content confirmations, processing status, help, or opt-out confirmation.

SMS disclosure

By texting Chive or selecting the SMS option in Chive, you consent to receive transactional text messages from Chive about your account, phone linking, content saves, processing status, and support/help requests. Chive SMS is transactional and product-related; it is not a marketing SMS program.

Message frequency varies based on how often you text Chive or request account and content updates. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out. Reply HELP for help.

Privacy and data sharing

Chive uses your mobile number to identify messages you send, link your phone to your Chive account, deliver transactional SMS replies, and provide support. Chive does not sell or share SMS opt-in data or mobile numbers with third parties for their promotional or marketing purposes.
